I’m clueless when it comes to this type of shit. That rounded end is called ADC - it’s an Apple connector that included signal, power and USB all in one. If your video card has a connector for that and you need to plug in a VGA monitor you can google “ADC to VGA adapter” and find some… they are rare, and pricy, but out there.
